You’ve Been Raised with Christ
The day after Easter is a good day to remember a truth we often move past too quickly:
The Bible teaches that if you are in Christ, you have been resurrected with Him.
This is not just a future promise.
It’s a present reality.
Paul writes in Ephesians 2:5–6 that God “made us alive together with Christ… and raised us up with Him.”
And in Colossians 3:1, he says, “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above.”
In other words...
The resurrection of Jesus didn’t just secure your eternity—it redefined your present.
You are not who you used to be.
The old has passed. The
new has come.
That means your identity is no longer rooted in sin, failure, or even your past victories.
It’s rooted in the risen Christ Himself.
And you now live from a place of life, not toward it.
So the question isn’t just, “Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead?”
It is: "Are you living like someone who has been raised with Him?"
Because...
A resurrected life changes how you think, how you act, how you lead, and how you respond when life
presses in.
Not later, or someday.
Today.
Put to death what belongs to the old life, and walk as one who has been made alive with Christ.
Because “we too might walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).
