What’s the ROI of your life?
The well-known Parable of the Talents (Mt. 25:14ff) carries a straightforward truth:
God wants you to make the most of your life.
He intends for His investment in you to bear fruit!
Yet notice this:
The Master does not prescribe how the servants are to use their gifts.
They must discern, think, pray, and act to bear fruit.
In other words, God puts it on us to be creative and responsible with what He’s entrusted to us.
This isn’t optional—it’s essential to your God-given purpose.
We all must intentionally steward our time, talents, and treasure.
But that kind of discernment doesn’t come naturally.
Our tendency is to respond robotically to cultural pressures, media, education, and others’ expectations.
We live inside a matrix of unexamined norms and patterns.
Yet Jesus redeems us from that.
He invites us not to conform to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Rom. 12:2).
To listen for His voice, and follow His lead.
So here’s the call:
Be reflective, prayerful, and courageous in obeying God with your
gifts and opportunities.
Don’t bury what He’s given you.
Invest it—even taking risks—in small ways today.
It's the way to make your mark for the kingdom.
It’s the path to hearing the Master say:
“Well done…” (Mt. 25:23).
