Real faith isn't private
Our times demand that we see the truth about what often passes for Christianity.
So much of it is a spiritualized, individualistic counterfeit.
It sounds authentic. It feels personal. But it’s hollow.
When faith is reduced to “just me and Jesus,” to private feelings with no church, no covenant, no history—it stops looking like Christianity at all.
It may have passion, but without a strong foundation, it will crumble under pressure.
Here’s the truth: real Christianity is about more than private spirituality.
It’s about God’s rule breaking into this world—His kingdom coming in Christ.
And it carries these marks:
1. Incarnational:
God took on flesh. Matter matters.
Your body, your work, your world—all of it matters to Him.
2.
Covenantal:
God doesn’t save individuals to function alone.
He brings them into covenant with Himself and His people, living in His kingdom.
3. Communal:
Kingdom life isn’t self-contained.
Grace spreads through the body of Christ to the world—and you are called to participate.
Christianity isn’t an escape from this world.
It’s the power to live in it—partaking in God’s rule, serving His purposes, and pushing back the darkness.
So here’s the challenge: don’t settle for a counterfeit, minimalistic faith.
Step into the faith Christ actually died to give you.
Not a compartmentalized set of beliefs, but a faith that governs all of life with Jesus as King.
