From Private to Public
Most Western Christians tend to keep their faith private.
So private it becomes little more than a personal devotional hobby.
But that is not what God intends.
Jesus preached constantly about the kingdom of God.
His first sermon was a call to repent, because the kingdom had come near (Mt. 4:17).
God’s
rule had broken into history!
Further...
He taught the kingdom is hidden yet unstoppable (Mt. 13:44–46).
Not advanced by force like earthly kingdoms, but by the Spirit (Jn. 18:36).
And one day His reign will be fully revealed, when every enemy is subdued (1 Cor. 15:24–25).
This reality shows our faith cannot be merely inward or private.
Christ’s rule extends to every domain of life—family, work, government, culture, and beyond.
So don’t reduce your faith.
Don’t privatize His reign.
Live
under His rule in every encounter, in every part of life.
For the day is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Phil. 2:10–11).
