Find Your Gift and Use It
The end of the week is a good time to reflect on your life.
To consider where you’ve been—and where you’re heading.
Two quotes can help frame that reflection:
Picasso once said, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”
Da Vinci, near the end of his life, confessed, “I have offended God and mankind by doing so little with my life.”
Two geniuses. Two perspectives.
One reminds you that you have a gift.
The other
reminds you that you can waste it.
Men, don’t coast through life and look back with regret.
Find the gift God placed in you.
Develop it.
Deploy it.
Spend it for the
good of others and the glory of God.
Your life is a stewardship.
Make it count.
Use the weekend to reflect on what you’re doing—and where you’re going.
May the Spirit of God guide you, encourage you, and give you vision for the days ahead.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another…” (1 Peter 4:10).
