The quiet habit that makes strong men
In a world that moves too fast and feeds us distractions at every turn, biblical meditation is a practice every man
needs.
The truth is, we all meditate.
We replay conversations… dwell on frustrations… worry about what might happen.
Our minds constantly chew on something.
The question isn’t whether you meditate. It’s what you meditate on.
Biblical meditation is God’s way to slow down, anchor your thoughts in truth, and fix yourself to His ways in a world pulling us away from Him.
This makes meditation critical to renewing your mind, overcoming evil, and walking in God’s
ways.
And, it’s something you can put into practice anywhere and anytime!
Since it’s portable, you can meditate in the car, on a walk, or between meetings.
And it’s powerful when built into scheduled times of reflection too.
Scripture presents meditation as a pathway to strength and success.
God told Joshua to meditate on God’s law day and night… as an essential to “good success” (Josh. 1:8).
The psalmist says the man who delights in God’s law and meditates on it day and night becomes like a tree
that stands solid and fruitful through every season (Ps. 1:2–3).
When practiced, meditation shapes your life in profound ways—like nothing else can.
It equips you to
face temptation, endure hardship, and excel in God’s calling.
It’s the quiet habit that forms a strong, steady man.
So slow down.
Ponder God's Word.
Let your mind be renewed.
And may it keep you in His ways.
