How Innovative Tech Can Fulfill God’s Mandate
A friend sent me a fascinating mini-documentary about the massive python problem in Florida’s Everglades.
These invasive snakes are devastating entire ecosystems.
But what caught my attention wasn’t just the problem—it was the creative solution.
Teams are using rabbit-shaped robots equipped with AI to track, locate, and ultimately remove these
predators.
It’s bizarre, brilliant, and—surprisingly—effective.
As I watched, I couldn’t help but think:
This is dominion in real time.
A small group of ordinary people taking responsibility for a corner of God’s world, exercising wisdom, courage, and ingenuity to restore what’s gone amiss.
It’s Genesis 1:28 lived out in work boots and field gear—“ruling over every living thing that creeps on the earth.”
Strangely enough, it was also encouraging to see AI being used this way.
We’ve all heard the fears, the warnings, and the speculation about where advanced technology might lead us.
Some of those concerns are valid.
But like every tool—from a shovel to a smartphone—AI isn’t inherently good or evil.
Its impact depends on the hands that wield it.
That’s a helpful reminder for you and me.
Whatever tools God places in our lives—technology, skill, influence, relationships—He intends them to serve His purposes and advance His kingdom.
The issue is never the tool.
The issue is whether we’re using it with wisdom, purpose, and a heart aligned with Him.
Get Dominion,
