The Second Most Important Day of Your Life
The most important day of a Christian’s life is the day he trusts in Jesus Christ.
On that day, he’s forgiven, declared righteous, and transferred from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son.
But there’s a second most important day—when he realizes
why he was saved.
God didn’t just rescue you so you could have peace with Him.
He saved you to labor with Him… to build, restore, and rule under His
authority.
Too many believers stop at forgiveness.
They think the goal of the Christian life is simply to have a good devotional routine and wait for
heaven.
But salvation is not an escape plan—it’s a commissioning from the Lord of all creation.
Ephesians 2:8–10 captures both truths:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works… For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
You were made new for a reason.
God had specific activities in mind for you before the foundation of the world.
Salvation gives you new life.
His purpose gives that life direction.
When those two come together, a man starts living as one under orders of his King.
Ask Him to show you the good works He’s
assigned to you—and then walk in them with faith, courage, and joy.
