Renew Your Mind
Every man who wants to live in God’s purpose must learn to master his thought life.
The battlefield of the mind is where victories are won or lost.
Yet it’s where many men struggle—made harder by a world that feeds the flesh and urges us to live independently from our Creator.
Renewing the mind starts with Christ, as we remember:
“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
From that foundation, we’re free to retrain our thinking.
Here are three key areas to begin:
Anxiety and fear — The world says you’re on your own. God says, “I am with you.”
Renewal means replacing self-reliance with trust in His presence and power.
Purity — The battle for purity begins in the imagination.
As we fix our minds on what is honorable, true, and good, the Spirit strengthens us to walk clean.
Bitterness and resentment — Left unchecked, these thoughts poison the heart.
Renewal occurs as we forgive as we’ve been forgiven… allowing grace to rule instead of keeping
score.
Whether a man renews his mind will determine his path.
One leads to courage, purpose, and Kingdom impact.
The other leads to retreat, isolation, and wasted days.
So take action—renew your mind.
Think differently than the world.
Think God’s thoughts after Him.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewal of your mind.” (Romans 12:2).
