30 Days to Grow
Some of our Made for Dominion groups are starting a 30-Day Focus Challenge this week.
The goal is simple:
Focus on ONE area for 30 days to pursue godly growth.
Most men
already know areas they need to work on — self-discipline, prayer, leadership, patience, purity, or initiative.
The problem isn’t knowledge. It’s distraction and drift.
This challenge is an opportunity to give needed attention to what God has already shown you.
Scripture makes clear that God never intended us to stay stuck in the status quo.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)
“Make every effort to add to your faith virtue…” (2 Peter 1:5)
“Press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)
You may not be in one of our groups, but you can embrace your own challenge.
Pick one area you know God wants to develop — something to build up, quit, or achieve.
Write down two or three biblical practices that will move you forward — prayer, fasting, journaling, confession, serving, or Scripture memorization.
If possible, enlist a friend to do their own challenge with you.
Stay with it for 30 days.
You’ll not only grow as a new creation in Christ, you’ll have something significant to thank God for this Thanksgiving.
Don’t settle for the status quo.
Follow Christ where He is leading you to grow.
Become better equipped to serve your place in His kingdom.
