Embrace your uniqueness
Our culture puts a lot of pressure on us to conform...
To be like everyone else just to get along.
And often we comply without thinking about it.
But here’s
what we need to remember:
Your greatest contribution to the world comes when you faithfully bring your uniqueness to bear.
So glory in the way God has made you
different...
Embrace your quirks and oddities.
Engage what interests you.
God created you exactly as you are for a reason--at this time and place.
Worry less about what others think.
Focus more on how God wants to use you.
Get equipped for that calling.
And prayerfully take action wherever He leads.
Be strong and courageous as you take on your unique position in the world...
... knowing the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).”
