Are you managing your stuff like it’s God’s?
In our early morning Made for Dominion meeting today we discussed managing our property with a Kingdom mindset. I thought
I'd pass on the highlights for you...
When it comes to property—money, home, possessions—Christians often fall into two errors:
1. “The physical doesn’t matter.”
2. “My stuff keeps me secure.”
Both are false.
Ultimately, God owns it all.
We are stewards, called to use what we have for His purposes.
Jesus’ parable in Matthew 25 makes it clear:
We're to make the most of what the Master entrusts to us -- for His kingdom.
So what does that look like?
Start by praying like a steward:
“Lord, it’s all Yours.”
“Give me vision to use it well.”
“Free me from greed.”
"Make a me a wise manager."
“Help
me live open-handed.”
All that we possess is a gift from above.
We should receive this with gratitude--and enjoy it.
But let us always remember...
God provides what He does as instruments to serve and advance His kingdom.
So ask Him:
What do You want me to do with what I’ve been given?
Faithfulness starts with what’s already in
your hands.
Manage your property like a man on a mission.
