Unshakable: Settled by God's Certainties

We live in unsettled times.
Uncertainty in politics.
Instability in the economy.
Unrest in culture.

And if we’re honest—sometimes the greater turmoil is inside us.
Our thoughts race.
Our emotions swing.
Our confidence wavers.

But consider this:

What feels unsettled in us is anchored by what’s settled in God.

Scripture shows us seven things God has fixed forever:

1. His Word is settled – “Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Ps. 119:89).

2. His Covenant is established – “He has commanded His covenant forever” (Ps. 111:9).

3. His Throne is secure – “Thy throne is established of old” (Ps. 93:2).

4. His Purposes stand – “My counsel shall stand” (Isa. 46:10).

5. His Works endure – “Whatever God does endures forever” (Eccl. 3:14).

6. His Judgment is fixed – “He has fixed a day to judge the world” (Acts 17:31).

7. Our Salvation is complete – “By one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified” (Heb. 10:14).

When what's around us wavers, these realities don’t move.

When our own hearts are restless, these truths steady us.

Being anchored in God’s certainties gives unshakable confidence.

So today—rest in what He has already settled.
