You weren’t made to live apart from God.
From the very beginning, we were designed to walk with Him—
To
know Him, listen to Him, and partner with Him in the work He gave us to do.
Solomon put it this way:
“He has set eternity in the human heart.” (Eccl. 3:11)
So that feeling there must be something more?
It’s not a glitch. It’s evidence of how God made you.
Even modern neuroscience is catching up—
Recognizing that the human brain contains circuits that search for meaning beyond time and space.
It’s as if your biology craves your Creator.
But eternity in our hearts doesn’t mean we’re meant to sit around waiting for heaven.
It means we were created to live in union with God now... for His kingdom—
Right in the middle of our callings, responsibilities, and daily work.
You were made to bring eternity into time.
To cultivate, build, and restore.
Not in your own strength, but with God Himself.
This is where we find meaning, purpose, and direction.
Not in chasing the next thing, but in walking and working with the One who made you.
So if you're aching for something more, don't ignore it.
Let it lead you back to your Designer—and His design to do every part of your life with Him.
