It’s
not enough to reject false identities.
We must embrace the true ones God gives us.
One of the clearest in Scripture? Sheep.
That may not sound flattering—but it’s true.
Sheep are dependent, vulnerable, and prone to wander.
That’s us.
Left to ourselves, we lose direction. We chase the wrong things. We end up exhausted or in danger.
And often, we don’t even realize how off course we are.
But here’s the good news:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want... He leads me
beside still waters. He restores my soul.” (Ps. 23:1–3)
Jesus doesn’t shame us for being sheep.
He moves toward us with love, care, and steady leadership.
He knows where you need to go.
He knows what dangers you can’t see.
And He knows how to restore what’s been worn down.
The question is: Will you trust Him?
You weren’t made to
figure life out on your own.
You were made to follow the Shepherd.
So—where are you leading yourself right now?
Where do you need to slow down and listen for His voice?
Jesus isn't a harsh taskmaster.
He’s a good, wise Shepherd.
And when you follow Him, you don’t just stay safe—you thrive.
The best equipped for life are those who
track with Him.
