What does it mean to trust God?
Christians often face their struggles with talk about ‘trusting God.’
But what does it mean to trust Him?
Too often we see it as a vague hope that things will work out.
But biblical trust is more than wishful thinking.
True trust means turning from our limited reasoning and relying fully on Him.
It’s recognizing our understanding is flawed and His wisdom is perfect.
Trusting God isn’t passive either.
It’s choosing to follow Him
faithfully, even when life feels uncertain.
Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us:
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Trusting God means surrendering our plans, fears and doubts… believing He is in control and His plans are good.
It’s walking in active obedience, even when the path isn’t clear.
Take a moment today to consider where you might be relying on your own understanding instead of trusting God.
Surrender those areas to Him.
And enjoy His peace and direction.
Let’s commit to trusting Him fully—turning to Him in every
decision.
