Courage Starts with Surrender
Before the cross, before the crown, before the empty tomb — Jesus knelt in Gethsemane.
There He faced the full weight of His calling.
There He struggled.
There He submitted.
"Not My will, but Yours be done."
This is where real masculinity showed up:
Not in avoiding the struggle, but in surrendering to the Father in the middle of it.
Every man
has a calling.
And every calling will lead you to a garden of your own.
You will wrestle.
You will sweat.
You will struggle to lay your will down.
But this is the pattern:
Courage starts with surrender.
Following Christ means following Him there too.
So the question is:
Where is the Father calling you to submit today?
"Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered" (Heb. 5:8).
