From worry to wisdom

The book of Proverbs is about developing good judgment.

And this is exactly what we need to manage whatever God puts before us.

We can’t control the outside world.

But–by God’s grace–we can make wise choices.

And it’s through these choices He fulfills His purpose through our lives.

Application:

Spend less time worrying about what’s out of your hands…

And give more energy and attention to shaping what’s within your grasp.

Start by asking God:

What is the next right thing to do?

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Pr. 3:5-6).
