What praying "Your kingdom come" requires

If you pray “Your kingdom come” earnestly, you must be prepared to face confrontation.

… Confrontation with your own desires and fears.

… Confrontation with the surrounding culture.

… And confrontation with any other realm where God’s rule must prevail.

Few relish the prospect of confrontation, but don't let it stop you here.

Praying for God’s kingdom to come is exactly what we should be doing.

We just need to understand what its arrival requires of us.
