Ideologies always fail, God's kingdom will not

Men without God tend to latch onto ideologies.

For many, these ideologies provide meaning, power and a vision to fix the world.

But ideologies never succeed.

The all come and go.

Because they end up ruining lives and show themselves unlivable...

They are unlivable because they defy reality — especially the great truths of creation, the fall and redemption.

Ideologies also ignore that God has launched His kingdom.

The prophet Daniel describes this kingdom as a stone that smashes the systems of this world…

… and becomes a great mountain that fills the whole earth — never to be destroyed (Dan. 2:34-35).

Jesus — through His life, death and resurrection — secured the victory of this kingdom for His Father.

And it’s why He regularly urged His hearers to realign their lives…

As He preached, “Repent, the kingdom of God is at hand” (Mt.4:17).

Ideologies appear unstoppable — for a season.

But they eventually peter out.

The must, since they run contrary to God’s plan for His world.

Wokism, the ideology of our day, will fail too.

And this should encourage all who follow Christ to labor on without fear.

While men push their ideologies, God is building His kingdom.

Let us build in faith with Him.
