Ever since the
fall of Adam humans have made a practice of suppressing the truth when it doesn't serve their interests.
But the thing about truth is it never goes away.
It's always there.
And though truth may be perpetually beaten down and buried, it has a way of rising again--no matter how defeated it may seem.
This has an enormous implication for all who seek God's kingdom.
Which is...
We ought to love the truth... pursue it... and abide in it with all our heart.
Remaining in the truth is the safest place to be...
It's a sure way to express faith in the Lord...
And though it may take a long time for truth to come to light, walking in it is the fastest path to fulfilling God's will for you.
Let this be a year where truth shines in your heart... and ultimately throughout your life.
"Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation" (Psa. 25:5).
