The other day in one of our Made for Dominion men's groups I made the point that Christmas makes better men.

This got some curious looks, but it's true...

... Christmas makes for wiser, stronger and more courageous men.

And this occurs as men believe what the Bible reveals about Jesus through His different names we focus on during Advent and Christmas.

So...

Because Jesus is:

- Wonderful Counselor, we always have someone to turn to for wise direction...

- Almighty God, we can be strong in the face of any foe or worry seeking to prevail over us...

- Everlasting Father, we have no reason to live unloved or uncared for as an orphan...

- Prince of Peace, we can address any trouble with composed and tranquil hearts, rather than turbulent ones...

- Emmanuel, we have assurance He is with us wherever He leads us.

Now follow me here...

If a man spends His life walking with He who is Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace and Emmanuel, don't you think He will become a better man?

Won't he surely grow wiser, stronger and more courageous?

It's inevitable!

And this, my friend, is how Christmas makes better men.
