We often think
wisdom is found in books.
There's a lot of understanding and insight to gain from reading, for sure...
And I encourage everyone to be a reader of good books.
But the time comes when we need to close the books, leave the house and engage the world!
And it's there we often find the need for wisdom the
most... on the spot...
In the market place... in the doctor's office... in that unexpected phone call or conversation.
Where do we find wisdom then?
Well it's right there where you need it!
Scripture tells us wisdom is...
Shouting in the streets... lifting here voice in the square... at the entrance of the city...
Uttering her sayings (Pr.1:20-22)...
All so we would we would receive her benefits!
Don't miss the big point here.
Wisdom wants you to find her.
And she's there right in the middle of everyday
life for you to hear from her.
We just need the sense to make it a habit to turn to her and listen.
Lord, give us the grace to humble ourselves, recognize our need, and ask you for the wisdom we must have today--in every circumstance.
