I'm pretty much
an introvert.
I like people, but...
I tend to thrive in quietness and solitude.
As a joke...
I've said the ideal job is one where you work alone and someone slides you food -- and a paycheck -- under the door.
Of course...
The world needs people who can work in seclusion.
They're inclined to get the big picture... see the details... and solve problems.
But introverts -- and really all of us -- need to remember something critical...
God didn't make us to do life on our own.
After God created Adam, He
observed it wasn't good for him to be alone...
... so He fashioned him a wife.
Further...
God designed
humanity to live in communities...
... so He made families, friends and His Church.
And, most significantly...
The Lord designed us to do life with Him...
... which is why He sent Jesus -- to restore our relationship with Him.
So whether you're and introvert or extravert:
Don't do life alone.
Take the initiative to reach out and connect with others.
And most importantly...
Don't spend your day disconnected from God.
He's there for you.
And He's given His Spirit so you can live every moment in union with Him.
If you're unsure what living in connection with Him looks like...
Simply pray...
"Lord, what do you want me to do?"
There's no better way to acknowledge you can't do life alone.
And it can be just the start to fulfilling His purpose for you today.
