Much of what we
do in life is supportive to someone else.
Which means we need to get used to playing second fiddle.
Even King David realized this.
Once David understood it was his son, Solomon, that God had chosen to build the temple, he shifted into a support mode.
And the Bible tells us he used all his ability
to provide gold, silver, bronze, precious stones, etc. for the building of God's house (1 Chr. 29:2).
As you consider the different domains God has called you to serve, be aware of the supportive roles
you can play...
... as a spouse, parent, worker, church or community member, and even a leader.
Pride pushes us all to want to be at the center things, and get recognized.
But more often than not God is calling you to do a great job playing second fiddle.
