I'm convinced gratitude helps you see better.

It has a way of opening your eyes.

With an ungrateful heart you only see what's wrong.

But with a grateful one you can see the blessings and opportunities of any situation.

I believe this is why--in part--the Apostle Paul said 'in everything give thanks' (1 Thess. 5:18)...

He knew from experience...

Even in the midst of need and persecution you can maintain your vision that God is good and at work... if you stay thankful.

So no matter what may be coming at you, keep a grateful heart.

It will allow you to see everything better...

Including instances of God's grace you didn't discern before.

And as you see more clearly you will be in a much better position for God to use you for good.
