Worrying about
the future comes all too easily.
And fretting about what lies ahead can become our default disposition...
...leaving us paralyzed by fear of an impending doomsday.
But of all people, believers ought to be the most confident and hopeful about the days in front of us...
... because Jesus rules over all.
He is the King of kings (1 Tim. 6:15)... who reigns over every authority and power (Eph.1:21)... and is waiting for all His enemies to be made a footstool for His feet (Heb.10:13).
As you allow this truth to settle in your heart, you become free to give your attention and energy to what God has given you to do today.
Because the future is secure in His hands, you can focus in the present on what He's put in in yours.
