Did you know there is such a thing called the Global Corruption Perception Index?

It ranks countries from the least to the most corrupt.

One of the things to learn from the index is that countries most influenced by the Bible are least corrupt.

This explains a lot... especially for Americans concerned about the increase in corruption we see in our day.

Birthed from a Bible-based movement, America has been blessed to keep corruption in check for most of its history.

But in recent decades corruption has been festering and becoming more blatant -- all while the authority of the Bible has been dismissed.

To address this corruption problem, America must return to the Bible.

When people recognize the authority of Scripture, they:

- think twice about their actions, knowing they live before an all seeing God

- seek to restrain themselves from theft and deception in light of God's commands against stealing and lying

- and become transformed by Jesus Christ, who satisfied the justice of God by suffering the extreme injustice and cruelty of the cross

If America is to recover her soul she needs to recover the Bible...

For it's by the grace of God revealed in the Bible we escape the corruption that's in the world (2 Pet.1:4).
