If you go online you can find all kinds of lists showing how to prepare for a disaster or hard times.
Most of these lists tend to focus on storing food. Important, for sure.
But Jesus had it right when He said man shall not live by bread alone, so there's really a need to know how to prep spiritually for any unknown hardships to come.
Since there's not much out there on this topic, I offer this short list for spiritual prepping...
1. Acknowledge Jesus as Lord always
Looking to Jesus as the one who rules over all leads to the repentance, humility, faith, peace, joy and hope necessary to survive any circumstance.
2. Incorporate spiritual disciplines
Making a habit of Bible reading, prayer, worship, serving, etc., will strengthen you to adapt and endure whatever you may face.
3. Stay connected to those who share your convictions
Living your life in a community of like-minded believers and friends makes it possible to not just survive but thrive in the face of adversity.
Remember, your spiritual commitments are the most significant factor of what becomes of your life... so take the steps you need to become spiritually equipped.
And keep in mind too...
God uses difficult times not to destroy, but to discipline and renew.
He is a God of resurrection who is making all things new.
