The freedom that
comes from forgiveness is a wonderful thing.
But we often focus on just half of it...
On the front half freedom delivers us from guilt, shame, regret, etc.
"For there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Rom.8:1).
Praise God for this.
But forgiveness brings more than freedom from all the baggage incurred by our sin...
It also frees you to fulfill the unique calling God has for your life.
It's like a computer that's been cleaned of viruses, malware and all kinds of unnecessary files...
... you can now function as God designed.
So when it comes to forgiveness, don't stop at thanking God for delivering you from a burdened heart.
Show your gratitude by walking in liberty and pursuing the purpose He has for you.
Don't just be forgiven from, be forgiven to...
