The Apostle James tells us we're to consider it all joy when we encounter various trials (Jas.1:2).
At first pass this seems a odd -- maybe even perverse.
Rejoicing in trials?
Really!?
But James goes on... to tell us how trials serve to build endurance and make us complete (Jas.1:3-4).
This gives a godly -- and hopeful -- perspective on our challenges.
It allows us to see that with the tests that come our way, God gives a chance to prove our faith...
... and become better equipped to serve in whatever capacity He has for us in His kingdom.
I know... it would be nice if there were an easy button to become the people God wants us to be.
But He's ordained trials to get us there.
May realizing this infuse you with joy in every test you face.
