Gospel issues

Christians often avoid addressing the controversial issues of the day by assuming or claiming they are not gospel issues.

But actually, every issue is a gospel issue!

Because the gospel is about restoring God's good design to all of His creation through Jesus Christ, who is Lord over all.

And the great need of our day is for God's people to bring the healing and transforming power of the gospel to bear on whatever issue that comes their way.

This begins by applying the gospel to everything in our own lives first... and then to everything around us.

Lord, may your Spirit give us the wisdom and boldness we need to put this into practice, faithfully and effectively.

And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new” (Rev.21:5).
