"But My servant Caleb, because he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it" (Num.14:24).
There is so much to see in this verse, but let's focus on one thing:
Caleb had a 'different spirit.'
While his companions lived in paralyzing fear, Caleb was ready to obey God and take the land He had promised -- no matter how big the giants were they'd confront.
How we need those with this same spirit today!
We look at the giants of our time -- big government, big media, big tech, big finance, big pharma -- and it all seems like a lost cause...
The situation has demoralized many, leading them to lay down their weapons and leave the battlefield.
But the truth is...
The same God who used a shepherd boy to take down Goliath -- and used a small band of unknown disciples to transform the Roman Empire -- is alive and well...
And He has no intent to give up His world to the devil today.
He gave His Son to assure that would not happen.
Maybe it's time to start living with a different spirit.
