John Bunyan, the author of The Pilgrim's Progress, wrote many years ago:
"You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you."
In an age swollen with self-interest, this is such a great reminder...
The use of our gifts and opportunities aren't so much about self-fulfillment as they are about serving those God has put in our path.
Live with your eyes open today to how you can meet the need of someone who can't pay you back.
This is the way to advance God's kingdom.
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve..." (1 Pet.4:10).
