Just the word 'dominion' can put people ill at ease...
Even for Christians... who know God calls us to exercise dominion in the first chapter of the Bible.
I suppose the uneasiness exists because the word carries connotations of overwhelming force -- and in a Christian context that makes us uncomfortable.
But biblically speaking, dominion is much more subtle and nuanced than the use of raw power.
It involves such things as prayer, walking in the Spirit, sacrificial service, acting with courage, using one's lawful authority wisely, etc.
So what does this look like in everyday life?
To answer that, I'd like to share a story.
It has to do with how a man handled an encounter with a speeding Mercedes in heavy traffic.
It's an amazing story... with so many applications of the dominion mandate... you've just got to read it.
Go ahead and check it out.
It's a story that could change your perception of the dominion mandate forever.
