Something to remember the day after Easter...
Jesus's resurrection didn't just secure forgiveness and eternal life for His people (Rom.4:25; Jn.11:25)...
It also made it so we could walk in newness of life (Rom.6:4).
So if you are beginning this week under a cloud of gloom... either from the drudgery of your routine, a bad habit, or depressing situation... set your sights on the things above (Col.3:1).
Through faith in Christ, you've been raised up with Him...
... making it possible to approach whatever you're facing differently -- with the hope and power of God's Spirit.
Let the truth of the resurrection we celebrated yesterday lead to newness of life today.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come (2 Cor.5:17).
