People often assume immaterial things surpass material things in importance.
This can make for a low view of your daily activities if they involve dealing mainly with physical things as opposed to heady concepts or ideas.
But let's remember...
God spent the first week of creation making a physical world...
And on the last day of that week He created mankind and gave instructions to manage everything He had made prior...
And when He was done He looked at the whole arrangement and called it "very good."
So if what you have to do today involves tending to the ordinary stuff of this world, there's no reason for shame.
There is value in what you do. And what you do with your stuff matters.
Just be sure you're doing it unto the Lord.
"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him" (Col.3:17).
