Talk of toxic masculinity has caused many men to stand down when it comes to expressing traditional masculine qualities.
This has done a lot of harm.
It's not only demoralized men and made them passive, it's created a huge leadership void where men need to be taking action.
So what should men do?
I say forget about the culture's hunt for toxic masculinity, and practice -- let's call it -- therapeutic masculinity...
Take responsibility.
Be willing to sacrifice and take risks for what's right.
Manifest strength.
And embrace your life with a sense of mission, knowing God has given you authority to bring His kingdom to the world.
As a man practices these biblical virtues, some people won't like it. But it's not toxic...
It's what'll help bring the healing today's families and our culture as a whole needs.
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men..." (1 Cor.16:13).
