People view their bodies in different ways...
For example:
- as something to be dissatisfied with
- worry about
- or find pleasure in
The Bible has a different take...
It sees our bodies -- and all their parts -- ideally as "instruments of righteousness."
"Do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members as instruments of righteousness for God" (Rom.6:13).
Another way to look at this is...
God made your body to carry out His business... and to use as a weapon for Him and His kingdom.
This means making choices regarding what we do with our bodies every day...
And involves remembering our bodies are not a curse, but a gift... needing to be brought in subjection to the Spirit.
