A surprising trend among some millennials...

Published: Tue, 05/30/17

Millennials suffer a lot of criticism.

Time magazine entered its assessment of those in this generation by calling them "lazy, entitled narcissists."

But let's not paint with too broad a brush.

And let's give credit where credit is due.

Here's one thing a number of millennials are doing that's constructive:

They're rediscovering the importance of trades... as they pursue hands-on work in areas like carpentry, plumbing, and welding... as well as other crafts.

It's ironic that a generation so often criticized for its laziness is turning to blue-collar work.

Hopefully this trend will stick... and lead to a recovery of the value of honest vocations of all kinds.
