I remember when my boys were little they continually built
things.
It didn't matter if it was a cardboard box or a pile of legos, they used their imaginations... and whatever they had on hand... to make awesome creations.
And -- as with all children -- nobody had to tell them how to do this.
It was just part of them.
But somehow as we get older, things change.
Our imaginations dim. We quit conceiving of new possibilities. And we play it safe.
This must be why Jesus said that to be part of His kingdom we have to become like little children (Mt.18:3; 19:14)...
Because children know how to envision and hope and live with abandon in a way adults do not.
Living out your
God-given purpose and discovering what it means to live like a child again go together.
