Expect Resistance

The Fall changed everything (Gen.3).

Because of it...

God instituted a battle between "the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent."

And He cursed the ground... causing it to produce "thorns and thistles."

Ever since, fulfilling the Dominion Mandate has been a struggle.

So... remember...

As you pursue the work God has given you do...

Resistance is to be expected.

Don't let it surprise you.

Or deter you.

Progress comes slowly by the sweat of your brow.

And the evil one will seek to bring ruin.

But by God's grace, His work of renewal will be accomplished... as we labor on in reliance on Him.

Because He's making all things new.
