There's been plenty written about him already...
But since Fidel Castro is a perfect example of what you might call a "dominion villain," I decided to put in a word about him anyway.
What, you ask, is a dominion villain?
A dominion villain is someone who perverts the Dominion Mandate for his own gain... through abusive means.
This is what Castro did throughout his life.
After getting control of Cuba, Castro ruled it for nearly five
decades... through intimidation, plunder, and firing squads.
In the process, the nation became impoverished... while he amassed a fortune of over 900 million dollars...
Making Castro a dominion villain...
Because he pursued the exact opposite of what the Dominion Mandate as given by God is all about.
That mandate is about
using one's gifts to develop the world for good, in service of one's fellow man.
Far different than what Castro was up to.
Of course... history is full of dominion villains who have oppressed their followers while promising secular paradise...
So why focus on Castro?
Because there are some who praise him.
Watch out for them.
And... we also need to realize the whole idea of dominion is unavoidable...
Someone's going to rule over the earth...
...
Either the good guys or the bad guys are going to have the upper hand...
And... I assume, like me, you'd rather have it be the good guys...
For that to happen, the good guys need to be busy doing what God has called them to do.
