Do you know what Albert Einstein valued more than knowledge?
... Imagination.
It's true.
He said it himself:
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
And by using his imagination Einstein became a genius... as he gave us new ways to look at time, matter, and energy.
Now most folks could never think of themselves being on the level of Einstein.
But the truth is... we've all been equipped with the gift of
imagination.
The only question is how we use it...
The imagination can lay wasted... and it often does in our entertainment-oriented society.
The imagination can also be misused... as is common when we use it mainly to magnify our fears or gratify our lusts.
Or... the imagination can be developed and used as a powerful force for good... which is in keeping with God's design.
HOW you use your imagination is really your choice...
And your choice will
make all the difference when it comes to what you are able to accomplish... and the kind of life you live.
So... seek the grace and discipline you need to capture and use your imagination constructively...
It's really the only way you can fulfill the purpose God has for you...
Which is... to cultivate the little part of the world He's put you in (Gen.2:15).
