I'm sure you've said it yourself.
You've been working on some project...
Like painting a room or sanding a piece of furniture...
And someone checks in on you and says, "Hey, it looks pretty good."
And you respond with, "Yeah... but it's not finished yet"...
... Because you know... whatever you're working on... could, should, and will look a lot better when it's actually completed.
Well... the same thing can be said about the world
we live in...
...It's not finished yet.
God has given the world a basic structure.
... He's made us in His image.
... And He's directed us to fill, subdue, and cultivate the earth.
But ...
When you look around you it's easy to tell we've got a ways to go.
... Yet don't let that discourage you.
Just remember:
It's not finished yet.
God has started something that He will one day
complete.
And He's calling you to take part in it.
Yes, the work He's given you has been made difficult by sin.
But it's also been made possible by grace.
