I want to address a misconception.

It's the idea that God's call to dominion does not apply to everyone...

That it's just for a select few committed believers.

Is that true?

Not at all.

God's call to dominion is what's known as a creation ordinance... which means it's universal.

... It applies to all of us.

So... just as what God says about work and rest applies to all humanity, so does the dominion mandate.

No spectators. Everyone participates.

The Great Commission confirms this universal application...

... When Jesus gives the charge to disciple the nations... and teach them to obey all that He commanded (Mt.28:18-20).

Now... once you realize God's call to dominion applies to everyone, it raises the question:

How is it to be followed?

Is it complicated?

No... it's really quite simple...

You follow the dominion mandate in the same way you live as a faithful believer.

... Through faith and repentance.

You just make sure you're applying His Word to ALL of life.

... Including your calling.

So in whatever He has called you to do... do it in FAITH by trusting His favor... and do it in REPENTANCE by continually turning to Him...

This is no more than what God calls all of us to do every day.

It's the way He's building His kingdom.​​​​​​​
