Now let's try this again...

Is God still serious about fulfilling the Dominion Mandate?

Does He really intend for mankind to rule over the earth and develop it for His glory?

... Or has human depravity made this impossible to fulfill?

We get our answer by looking at the story of Noah.

Noah lived in an evil age.

It was so bad that all men did was use their imaginations to come up with new forms of wickedness (Gen.6:5).

Ultimately, the condition of the human race became so foul that the only way to save it was for God to bring judgment.

And that He did with the great flood.

When the flood waters subsided, it's remarkable to see what God told Noah to do... as the head of the lone surviving family...

He reissued the Dominion Mandate (Gen.9:1ff)!

It's as if God said, "Okay, let's try this again."

So... if you ever look at the sorry condition of the world and wonder... "Is God really serious about having His will be done on earth as it is in heaven?"

Rest assured... He's absolutely serious!

Sin and evil will not stop Him.

And as the story continues on from Noah, we see God sent His Son to make certain all things will be made new (Rev.21:5).

So, yes, God's mandate for mankind to develop in all aspects of life remains.

And don't let the presence of evil make you think otherwise.

Just keep faithfully doing what He's called you to do.

Get Dominion,

"And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth" (Genesis 1:28).
